Coffee Stakeholders Meet-Up in Nairobi Sets Stage for Intra Africa Coffee and Chocolate Trade Week

The Coffee stakeholders meet-up, an initiative by the Intra-Africa Trade Committee of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took place on the 13th of February 2024 at Pointzero Coffee within the picturesque Karen Blixen Museum. The gathering brought together diverse players in the coffee value chain from Kenya, ranging from farmers and processors to distributors, aggregators, consultants, associations, avid enthusiasts and many more.

The event served as a prelude to The Intra Africa Coffee and Chocolate Trade Week, a significant industry affair scheduled to take place in Equatorial Guinea from the 12th to the 14th of September 2024. The Intra-Africa Trade Committee spearheaded this initiative with a broader mission to enhance awareness, support, and participation of Kenyan businesses in the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The intimate setting of the Pointzero Coffee meet-up fostered meaningful connections and dialogue among stakeholders, setting a positive tone for the collaborative spirit expected at The Intra Africa Coffee and Chocolate Trade Week. The event stands as a testament to the ongoing efforts of the Intra-Africa Trade Committee to empower and elevate the Kenyan coffee industry on the continental stage.
